Club Meeting Minutes - September 26

The meeting was held at Profenno’s Restaurant from 6:20pm until 7:30pm.

Information Officer Report –

·       Any work being done on the trail system should be documented with pictures and a short write up and texted to Mark C so they can be posted on Facebook. The more people see what we do the more people will appreciate us.

Trail Master Report –

·       Golf Course is currently closed due to people abusing the greens last winter. Dan and Ant to seek them out to see if they’re willing to open it back up.

·       The trail system’s bridge assessment effort is currently underway

·       Last Junior High Bridge (3 pole) Needs new decking. 15 boards needed. - Rough Cut

·       Cave Trail bridge needs 6 boards - Rough Cut

·       RR Bed is still close due to trussell damage

·       Beaver Bog need attention to remove the water from the trail.

·       Bridge by Chase’s Custom Homes has been damaged from water erosion and needs repairs.

·       Bridge Supplies on order:

o   70 Rough Cut 2x10x10

o   2 sheets of 1/2 PT plywood

o   3 ½” galvanized common Nails

·       Need to look into access to the old Chases property to cross Rt 302 – Dan M will meet with the current owners.

·       Mark L will trade services and perform minor repairs to the Little League’s tractor for the use of it to bush hog the system with it.

·       Dan will look into dropping off the bridge supplies at Community Center

Equipment Update

·       2 New Battery Saws - To be purchased by Jeff T

·       DR Mower Bushhog Need throttle cable Jason P is working on this.

·       Bearcat needs some attention on oil tank

New Business

We have the 2024 MSA Super Raffle tickets. 

The next meeting will be held on 10/17/2024 at 6:30 at Anthony Latini’s house.
